Morgan State University Reviews
Morgan State is an excellent school. The professors and staff there have a vested interest in you not only as a student, but as a future leader. When I attended, they had just made several improvements including upgrades to McMechen Hall (School of Business) which was new at the time. Throughout the years, the progress has not stopped with the addition of several new buildings, programs, and opportunities. You really develop a network of lifelong friends (family) that will play a role for years to come. I would encourage anyone who wants that "college" experience but doesn't want to get lost in the shuffle of 60,000 students to go to Morgan State. Best choice ever!
Great school! The professors are awesome and really incorporate cultural competence into their lessons. There are always activities on campus to engage in and many clubs and fraternities and sororities. It is an open campus so there tends to be a lot of people that do not go to the school on campus and the food choices are very limited. On the plus side, the school is relatively inexpensive. I received various institutional grants and scholarships without having to apply for them. Morgan is a great school for mature students as well and offers automatic admission for students who have continuously been out of school 3+ years which is always great. Downside is there are no daycare/family services.
Morgan State University is an amazing institution. It is full of culture and life. I can not see myself retrieving higher education at no other HBCU. I am a sophomore who in just three semesters whole life was changed due to attending Morgan. Here at Morgan I have matured in a responsible young woman who focuses on my success and education. At Morgan I was able to participate in many activities that allowed me to network and meet new people. I became apart of an E-Board and was able to gain the corporate experience I need to endure before heading out into the real world. I love Morgan State University and the foundation it has built for me. I am proud to be a bear!
