The school is great I'm enrolled in the Modular Academy for Riverside County Sheriff Department. The instructors are all in the law enforcement field and experts in their field (as that is a requirement before they can instruct us). They are very passionate as this is their career and they are training us to make it ours. Everyone who instructs us is amazing. The only issue I had was with the actual financial aid department at the college. They were horrible at response times and getting back to me, until I got my lead instructor at the academy involved, then it was a one day turn around, literally! but once again it showed how dedicated my instructor was to not just helping me but anyone in that class who had issues. Best staff I've ever seen at a college and I've been to three.

I recently got accepted to California State University of San Bernardino and I decided to turn down their offer because Moreno Valley College is the place for me. This school provides students with the tools we need to succeed and offers the best programs to fit each students' needs, in order to prosper. The help we receive from our staff is amazing! No one is ever to busy or occupied to help; help is 100% reliable and convenient. I am proud of my decision and Moreno Valley College doesn't make me feel ashamed for choosing community over "a 4 year"
I enjoy going to Moreno Valley College because it is very close to where I live, not only that but it is not a very large campus which make it easy to get to classes. However, I feel like they could do a better job in promoting the different tutoring they have available for students, at times it feels that I am on my own when it comes to completing my assignments. The Student Services office is not the best either, it usually seems like its a burden for them to help students out with their issues. In multiple occasions rather then getting help i get scolded at and told to look at my student email if I need more information. Overall, the school does need work but it could be a lot worse.
