Morehead State University Reviews
Rating 3.63 out of 5 1,093 reviews
Besides their beautiful campus, the social environment is warm and inviting. It doesn't take too long to find your group on campus; whether by going Greek, getting into the year-round intramural teams, or even joining our lightsaber club (yes, it's a thing). You can find your home anywhere on campus. As for the courses, they are unique and the professors genuinely care about your mental, physical, and educational self. They want you to do well and are always there to help you!
As a student at Morehead State University, I appreciate that the faculty, staff and other employees do their best to make campus and the community a safe, fun, and healthy environment for those involved. There are many student organizations and events always going on, and the nature of the plants around campus make it truly beautiful. Some things that I would like to see changed, however, are that some things on campus are not routinely updated/maintained, such as the steps and elevators in some of the academic and residential buildings, the emergency phones around campus, and the parking lots. Morehead State University, although considered a smaller college, still has a fairly large number of on-campus residents and commuters who struggle to find parking due to lack of available spaces.
Straight out of High School I started at Morehead State University originally to get away from my hometown and so many people that I knew. This is just the place for that to happen, and easily too. I fell in love with this part of Kentucky because it is truly beautiful town for a college to reside in. The staff at Morehead State were always so sweet and understanding, and they helped me achieve all I could during my time there. I am truly thankful for my advisors and other leaders within the school, they truly made my get away from home so much more enjoyable.
