Moraine Valley is a great school to transfer from; it's inexpensive, has great facilities, a variety of classes offered throughout the day, and a (mostly) great group of professors. There is an Involvement Culture (not a party school), but you do have to know people and be an extrovert to enjoy it. Classes and campus are very crowded and you'll hear everyone say parking is a huge problem! Definitely recommend going there, though.
Review Moraine Valley Community College
The amount of resources available at this Community College is quite satisfying because I plan on attending Moraine this upcoming Fall season. The campus is great, and I love how there are available tutors which are free. Extra help is always welcomed with me!
My years at Moraine Valley surely helped me grow as an adult and as a college student. My first day in a college class, when the bell did not ring, was an uncomfortable day. But as the days and weeks, until the two years at that school were almost complete, I realized that college was a place for growth and exploration. Moraine taught me to be strong in what I believe in. Not to be afraid of what my dreams are or where they are going to lead me. Moraine was strong in supporting students in any way they could. That support got me to follow my dreams and get into my next university for my second college degree. The only thing I would change about moraine is for the counselors to have assigned students, instead of seeing a random counselor every time a student goes in to seek assistance.
