The first time I heard someone talking about Moraine, they referred to it as "Moron Valley". It made me think that I would be considered stupid for going, but I was never more wrong. The environment is naturally inviting. I will admit, you have to go out of your way to seek help from counselors, but when you do go to see them they answer every question you have and more so! Everyone is nice, no one is miserable being there either. The Campus has a lot of open areas and walking space, and the buildings are easy to maneuver from each other. The Professors take their jobs very seriously as well. They feel no shame in teaching at a Community College, and they expect students to put their best effort into their work. I will happily be attending Moraine for my 3rd year in the Fall of 2018, and I plan on transferring to DePaul in the Fall of 2019, fully prepared thanks to Moraine Valley Community College.

Moraine Valley was an amazing community college. The professors were so down to earth and really want you to succeed, they stay after hours if you need the extra help. They also offer a tutoring center (reason why I completed calculus with a B) that is free of cost to students! Student life was always so positive and campus was so lively. Commuting was a breeze as I lived a few miles away. The advisers are very knowledgeable, always gave the guidance and answers I needed. Wish they would turn Moraine into a 4 year institute.
I like Moraine Valley Community College is because the Junior college has a lot of different options to choose from then my second reason is that Moraine Valley Community College has different Events, Organizations, Student Clubs, Interships hosted by Student Life inside of the Student Lounge in the U Building also Moraine Valley Community College has something that every Student can enjoy with staff members and their Instructors But Finally They also have Field Trips that students can participate in by The Manager of the different Student Clubs that every Student can enjoy themselves.
