For someone who spent an extra online year due to the pandemic, the professors at Montco made the experience easier, assuring that there are many recourses for me if I am struggling both academically and mentally. I spent my first and third years at Montco in person. The campus is very inviting and modernized, accommodating for students whether they need computers to do homework, food or beverages breaks of long study sessions, plenty of lounge areas to work and talk to new friends, and multiple sports teams with amazing coaches. As a former captain of the women's soccer team, I can proudly say that it was worth the experience, as I met my best friends, got to stay active while being a full-time student, and feeling like a belonged. Aside from the experience Montco is affordable, and accommodates for busy schedules with online learning, and 24/7 online tutoring. I learned a lot about myself, alongside getting a full-time job here! Montco is a school full of opportunities.
MontCo is a great school for adults who are in the working world full-time. I initially sacrificed my education to pursue a career, but this school has shown me it is possible to have the best of both worlds and more! I couldn't have imagined a smoother experience, and I will be looking forward to graduation for the 23-24 school year!
My education at Montgomery county community college has been enjoyable. Professors have taught me a lot about my major. I had the opportunity to see some classes online and on campus. I like on campus more because of the facilities and the college's areas for students to study, eat or rest. Being part of Student Ambassador has connected me much more with the college and knowing the different resources that this college offers, such as 24/7 tutoring, physical and mental help. Being a student, also they offer you appointments with free therapists. Something that has helped me a lot during the semester. It also gives me college experience and an essential foundation for my career when I transfer. Something I would like to see changed would be that there were more activities for the students, so they can connect or get distracted in their breaks between classes. This helps students to get motivated, get out of their comfort zone, and is a way of diversity while studying.
