Monterey peninsula college has the great environment for students to focus on their academic life since professors are so helpful and inspirational. The professors are very knowledgable about their fields! Classes are always filled with learning, and I've never felt unfullfilled in a class. They are moderately sized as well, which helps with participation.
Review Monterey Peninsula College
Although I've only been here for two full semesters, I can say that the experience here is pretty relaxed. The school has well train staff members, the teachers are really kind and helpful, and the classes are easy to follow so long as students are present for the classes.

There have been a few problems on campus with students getting violent or there being theft on campus but they handle that pretty well from what I've noticed. Students can get alerts on their phones if something happens on campus as well as emails. For some of the alerts, they will issue updates such as if they apprehended a suspect to a crime.

They have plenty of opportunities for students and they send a weekly program through the student emails, telling them what is happening that week. It lists school events, clubs, theatre play times/dates, and sporting events.
Great atmosphere on campus and amazing professors. However there is limited parking on campus and the library is closed by 8pm which is extremely early to other colleges, even for a community college!
