MSUB is a great school. I am studying art and education and I have had a great overall experience. However, I have had some trouble with the art department and my credits transferring and with advisors scheduling my classes. There are some of my credits that did not transfer and then my advisor tried making take courses that I have already taken. Once these issues were cleared up everything seemed to work out. The education department on the other hand it quite wonderful. They do the best that they can to work with you and help you finish school in the most efficient way possible. I highly recommend the education department at MSUB!

Going back to school, after spending six years post graduation raising my two children, was a very scary and intimidating experience for me. Luckily, MSUB made me feel very informed and confident, and there was always someone available to reassure me that I had made the right choice to go back and keep going. I felt so confident from my advisors at MSUB, that my GPA actually doubled from what it had been in high school!
Montana State University Billings is a unique college experience. With a small and personal campus, it is easy to find familiar faces to brighten your day. The class sizes are small, making it easier to have all your questions answered thoroughly. The professors on campus are some of the best. They truly take time out of their days to get to know you and help you learn the material. Fellow students are also inviting and friendly. It is easy to make friends on campus, and easy to stay connected due to the number of attending students. The campus offers great food options that can be easily paid for with your school ID. The university is in a great location in town as well. It is easy to find, and close to some great leisure activities in downtown Billings. I believe I made a great choice coming to this school, and am proud to be graduating from this campus in the near future.
