Overall, the atmosphere at MSU, Billings is very light hearted and positive. The professors are all extremely passionate about their realm of education. Dorms are very spacious and centrally located! The safety of the students is alway put first! The campus food has improved greatly from the past years, since they got a new chef.

What I like most about Montana State University-Billings is the academics and the professors. The academia is challenging, yet interesting and relevant. The professors are flexible, knowledgeable, and know how to joke around with their students. The one thing I would change is some of the outdated rooms on campus. The dorm rooms are average and nice, but need little touch-ups here and there.
MSUB is a great school. I am studying art and education and I have had a great overall experience. However, I have had some trouble with the art department and my credits transferring and with advisors scheduling my classes. There are some of my credits that did not transfer and then my advisor tried making take courses that I have already taken. Once these issues were cleared up everything seemed to work out. The education department on the other hand it quite wonderful. They do the best that they can to work with you and help you finish school in the most efficient way possible. I highly recommend the education department at MSUB!
