Montana State University - Billings Reviews
Review Montana State University - Billings
As a freshman I experienced an environment at MSUB that was very conducive to learning and provided a decent social atmosphere. MSUB has an amazing staff who's goal truly seems to be helping their students achieve their goals. The university has a good resource network and provides almost everything a student could need in their time spent learning here. The university is set in a nice community that is rather conservative and is actually rather anti-party scene requiring a bit more discretion. Overall I believe that the social environment is one of the biggest areas with room for improvement however I do not believe it's possible until the rest of the community experiences some change.
There is a friendly atmosphere. The instructors, professors, and they care about you and your learning and are always approachable. Smaller class sizes mean more one-to-one attention and a better chance at success.
Living on campus is great! you're able to come back to the dorms and study for exam without having other distractions in the way. Everyone is like minded and is great encouragement. I enjoy going to MSUB. The cost is low so I'm able to afford going to college and getting my bachelor degree of nursing. The college has a great library that has three levels for students to study. The professors here take their time to teach you and make sure you really are understanding the information that is being taught.
