We’re Monroe – an affordable private college that has helped students achieve their educational goals for more than 85 years.
We educate nearly 8,000 students from New York and around the world annually, but you will never feel lost in the crowd at Monroe.

We offer ample student support services and only hire faculty and staff who are passionate about student success. In fact, most – if not all – of our professors provide their personal cell phone numbers at the start of the semester so that students like you can easily reach out to them with questions.

Outside the classrooms, there is always something happening on campus. We offer two competitive athletic programs — Division I athletics in New Rochelle and Division III in the Bronx – as well as plenty of student clubs to serve nearly every interest. Various cultural, social, and entertainment events on- and off-campus throughout the semester round out the strong mix of extracurricular happenings.

My experience at Monroe has been a great one this far! The professors at the college are awesome and very skilled in what they do. Staff are very genuine and caring always putting the needs of the students first. The campus is very multicultural and much diverse. Their are students that come from all over the world just to study at Monroe College! Not to mention the athletic department and the great work they do all year round! Due to its major achievements many of Monroe’s athletes are able to go off and pursue their athletic career professionally! Student Life is always booming, there is always much to do on and off of campus. Furthermore the hundreds of clubs that meet every week on campus bringing a sense of joy and friendship amongst the students. The campus food I will say is up to par! Let’s not forget the culinary students that show off their skills every week in the student kiosk, always full of flavor!
