At the Hannibal campus it is very small and personal! You usually have the teachers in your major more than once and so you get that connection with them that may not be there in bigger schools. The teachers really do care about your success as well! If you have a problem they are always happy to help you. The school has a lot of resources as well! They have online tutors that you can talk to, submit papers to be checked from grammar and citations, and they even have an insurance company to help up in tough times. I have a friend who went through a lose and got counseling sessions through it! The staff is great and the small class sizes make it easy to find a class. I found it easy to make some friends despite being so quite and awkward as people are so friendly here! This is a place where people will stand and hold doors open for each other! It's also very inexpensive and a great place to start at if you don't want to jump into a big college right away. I am really going to miss this school after I graduate. It's been such a great experience!
Review Moberly Area Community College
I have enjoyed my class here. The professor is helpful and understanding. The office staff also take the time to explain things to you. This has been helpful as I am a non-traditional student returning to school. They helped me get credit for classes that I transferred in. Therefore, I didn't have to take as many additional general education classes.
MACC is an excellent resource for newly graduated high school students beginning their education and for individuals returning to finish their education. Faculty and staff have gone above and beyond to be of assistance. They are knowledgeable, helpful and sincere. I would definitely encourage others to attend.
