So far, Missouri State has had tons of opportunities. It has a variety of academic clubs - one for pretty much every interest - and great classes. I've had (mostly) great teachers. However, if you're not into the party scene or a sorority or a fraternity, it's hard to find fun things to do. I would love it if more events were put on by SAC. In contrast, all of their sports teams are fun to watch! The campus is beautiful with toons of great resources. The dining hall food isn't half bad either, but it's also not half great.
A great environment to learn and grow in! Many opportunities to get involved and make a change for good. Classes are challenging, but teachers are helpful if you put in the effort. Springfield is beautiful as is the campus. A school that is affordable without compromising the education you receive. Very safe.
The courses that I have taken are difficult courses, but the professors have been very helpful. The courses are harder than coursed I took in high school as dual credit through another university. I think the quality of the courses is very good. There are many courses available and a variety of times to take each one. I think the professors at MSU are wonderful! They are very knowledgeable and helpful. I think they care about us and want us to succeed. Many of my professors design their courses so I will have to work hard to meet the demand. I like that. I do not want a watered-down curriculum. I want to be challenged and MSU professors definitely challenge me.
