Missouri State is all about the students. The fact that they will do whatever they can to provide a quality education without stealing the student's money is everything. Even with the cut to funding, they are still making tuition and fees as low as possible. The atmosphere is great! The faculty and staff are all there to help us with anything and everything. The teachers all emphasize the fact that they WANT us to ask question's and meet with them when we are having trouble arendnd they all do so much t make sure everyone is comfortable with doing so. I had always heard amazing things about MSU and now that I am here, I can say that it is one of the best decisions I could possibly make for my education and career.
Before I was a student at MSU, I was ecstatic to start my future at such an inviting and diverse campus. As a second semester student, I still experience the overwhelming joy of the atmosphere and culture. I recommend all my friends, whom are looking where to college, to come to Missouri State University. When I'm asked by my friends and family how my college life is going, I have a tendency to rant and carry on on how much MSU has shaped me into a driven, and well rounded individual. I love MissouriState University!
During my poetry class, the professor had a mental melt down which resulted in disorganized grad students teaching the course. The grades were reported late and I lost a scholarship because of it.
When I first started I asked my advisor the difference between a BA or a BS? She told me to take an intro class that she taught. The difference is a requirement for foreign language with a BA and a BS does not.
Long story short, the campus is full of disorganization where students fall into cracks of beauracrecy. Students be aware!
