Mildred Elley School - Albany Reviews
Mildred-Elley is a great school. This is my third time enrolled in college and I've been more successful then I could possibly imagine. This school has presesnted great opprtunity's for me and allowed me to maintain a 3.9 Gpa with 2 toddlers at home. I would have to say the only downfall is the selection of degrees and ceterficates you can achieve. More classes areas of study should be offered and it could thrive even more as an institution!
Mildred Elley is awesome! From the very beginning in the application process, to orientation and freshman seminar, all the way to graduation, you really feel how caring the staff is. I'm of course independently thrilled and thankful to be getting my degree here, but it makes it even better to see how much satisfaction the instructors get in seeing the students succeed.
Let me tell you about this ridiculous school. First and foremost, they change your schedule based on how well your fellow classmates do. I was a weekend student and half of my LPN class failed A&PII so they switched me to night classes. Some of my classmates had to quit jobs to be able to accommodate the switch. Secondly, there are teachers there that should be fired due to incompetence. It should say something that every single class that they teach struggles to pass or that you have to throw out 15 questions on the midterm or final. Thirdly, they bully the good teachers. Fourthly, they will not notify you of a hold on your account. You will just discover it when you try to view your grades. I really do not recommend going here for their LPN program.
