Middle Tennessee State University Reviews
I enjoy many things about MTSU including the easy-to-navigate campus, plethora of food options, and the many resources in place for students to use. MTSU is also very close to home, as I can make a short forty-five minute drive to my mother's house. The football tailgates and games are always a great time to interact with fellow students. With world class hip-hop producer Tay Keith on campus, there is always a party going on during the weekend. MTSU offers many benefits over a wide range and that's why I am very proud to be a Blue Raider!
I had such an enriching time during my undergraduate here that I decided to go back for graduate degree! With an undergrad major and minor on opposite sides of the spectrum, I was given a unique opportunity to meet all sorts of professors and colleagues. It's been a few years since I graduated with my bachelor's degree, and I've maintained wonderful connections with my mentors and friends, alike.
MTSU is a fantastic school. I attended undergrad at a much smaller university in a rural area but the transition to graduate school here has been relatively simple. I love the closed campus and for me with night classes, parking is relatively close to the buildings and easily accessed. The professors I've had so far are stellar. Even though the school is bigger, the MAcc program still has smaller classes and the professors really take the time to get to know you and assist you if you need it. The food options on campus are also awesome. Coming from the smaller university where the only options were a cafeteria and one small restaurant, I love having a Chick-fil-A or Subway I can hit up before class. I also love the library layout and booth seating. I would love to see more booths put in!
