I believe that schools should regularly update their web-based registration system for the sake of students.

They shouldn't invest so much in a merger without considering the time it would take to phase in a new web-based registration system. In short, students have difficulty registering their courses due to the downtime.

Furthermore, more financial aid should be offered to outstanding students than what is currently available. I myself have a standing 3.88 GPA, but I receive very little funding for food, transportation, books, etc.

The library is excellent and they offer a lenient policy for late returns. In conclusion, I feel a school that guarantees student success promotes and supports their students financially - even by means of financial consultation - rather than helplessly turn away the most promising ones.

Time after time I find myself filling out forms and traveling miles for naught when it comes to this school.

For example, when applying for financial aid, I needed my current tax forms; but, I was unemployed until the point of homelessness.

Rather than simply updating their student database, like Morehouse College would, they send the student (me) out on a fruitless journey.

Second, when I request transcripts or check the status thereof, MGTC has a tendency to lose track of paperwork in transit or already received.

They delay things so much, scholarships and internships and even job offers are put to rest.
In the little military town of Warner Robins, 70% students have veterans or active duty servicemen/women.

The other 30% are poverty-stricken, desperately searching for work. All things considered, most people go to MGTC just to obtain Pell Grant or Hope Grant monies before dropping the following week and moving on in life.

I give the entire student body a B+ for their resilience, not their intelligence - which is immeasurable.
