At Mid-America Christian University, the safety of our students, faculty, staff members and guests remains our highest priority. I absolutely loved macu while I was there! Everyone there is so friendly and it was so easy to make friends! You feel involved with almost anything there! The events are fantastic and everyone is welcome to join them! People will look over macu because it’s a small school but this school has such a big heart. If you’re wanting to learn more about Christianity this is the place to be. If you have any question don’t even hesitate to ask them. They will make sure by the end of it, you’ll know what said thing is about.
Mid-America Christian University is a place to learn who you are, and who God says that you are. At MACU, you are constantly being filled with the spirit whether that's in the chapel, small groups, or even the classroom. The teachers and staff here are amazing and truly want you to succeed. Not to mention all the incredible support shown to you by your classmate's other kids on campus. Another bonus is the dorms are amazing! Also, the cafeteria food is great, and the cooks will even come out and check to see that everything is tasting alright. Overall, Mid- America Christian University is a great place if you are looking for a loving and accepting community to be able to grow in.
At Mid-America Christian University, you're not "just another student." I am currently enrolled in MACU's online classes for adult learners, and even though I live 734 miles away from the Campus, I feel like I am part of the college. I have never been enrolled in a class with more than 25 students, allowing the professors to be more engaging and responsive to questions or comments. The staff at MACU has been supportive along the way, providing me with encouraging feedback on my progress thus far. I am 21 weeks out from my associate's degree and plan to continue achieving my bachelor's degree. This is my fourth attempt at college, and I have never felt like I had the tools to succeed like the ones MACU provides at other colleges. The online format is the definition of "user-friendly." It is easy to navigate, and all of the information you need for your classes is easy to locate. They also offer 5-week courses that I can complete by working whenever convenient for me.
