Michigan State University Reviews
My senior year of high school I was very stressed out about committing to a school. I was so unsure of if I would end up regretting my decision and wasting thousands of dollars. I picked MSU because they have a highly acclaimed program in my major. I am currently in my sophomore year here and I couldn't be happier with my choice. My classes are interesting yet challenging and my passion for my major has only grown through opportunities to get experience in my major during my freshman and sophomore years! I've chosen to live on campus the first two years and while the dorms are meh, the RAs have always been very helpful and I've made so many friends who live on my floor. Getting a job was very important to me and I got hired before I even started. I am always shocked with the number of clubs on campus - this is totally cliche but there really is something for everyone here! I would honestly recommend Michigan State University to anyone looking for a bigger (but not too big) school!
Michigan State is a great school for independent, fun-seeking, out of the box thinkers. MSU isn't the generic 4 year, huge university. It's a place where people grow into their own. You can do that at any school but MSU is unique because of the people who go to MSU. MSU students are the craziest, but smartest students you'll ever meet. We know how to party but we also know how to get down to business and we do big things when we graduate! MSU is the place for you if you are determined, self-motivated, and love to have a good time!
Growing up in Michigan you could say that my whole family was Michigan State fans, we watched all the basketball and football games, and attended the women's basketball games throughout my childhood. So when it came to picking colleges in my heart I knew it was right for me, and I'm glad that I made that choice. I am currently going to be entering my last year in college, and I think what stands out to me the most about MSU is the sense of community, and diversity; we have one of the best study aboard programs in the nation and knowing that I could go anywhere in the country or the world and find alumni from MSU is unbelievable. I have and will always reccomend Michigan State not just because of the environment, the professors, and academic opportunites, but because of the spartan experience, I love it here and I hope you do too. Go Green!
