MSU had been my dream school for many years, so when I finally moved in on August 28 I immediately felt at home.
The courses I've taken thus far as well as the professors I've spoken with have been excellent.
The diversity is awesome. I've made friends with people from all over the world just on my floor alone.
Campus is large enough to feel like its own city, yet once you've adapted, it's not difficult to call it home. I learned my way around after walking to classes and dining halls for the first two weeks.
The only true cons at MSU are the service from the Financial Aid and Registar's offices and the safety. I've heard many rape cases are not properly handled, and this is clearly illustrated by Googling "MSU sexual assault." They're making an effort by adding workshops and web seminars for students to participate in, so hopefully the campus is safer for both men and women in the future.
Overall, Michigan State is an exemplary school and I'm glad I decided to attend. Go Green!
