I truly enjoy Merced College as it has been nothing but supportive towards allowing me to successfully achieve my goals in receiving my A.S.T for Business Administration while attending school through a hybrid learning system. Merced College also gives very efficient and easily accessible web courses to further help you with your search for success! The ability to schedule appointments with your counselors is also so convenient and very reliable to help you out during times in need.
Some professors are great, others aren't for various reasons. The cafeteria has great options when it's open. Not enough food and drink options at all areas of the campus. Financial aid process can sometimes take quite while wifi can be stressful but they're generally willing to help you through the process. Plenty of degree options, online classes have increased, many instructors accept several who at waitlisted for a class. Many fees have gone up. Overall recommended as a starting point for furthering your education.
I enjoyed being able to take all my classes online without having to visit the main campus at all it really helped during quarantine that the college already had a very good variety of courses available online. I think that there was a time when a lot of professors needed time to adjust to being only online because some classes were difficult to be part of because the challenge of integrating class material online can be burdensome but most of the professors managed very well in their unfortunate circumstance and now most if not all classes are available online, which I appreciate. On campus is not a very special experience and is not much to talk about. It isn't a poor-quality campus but there is nothing particularly special about the space that they provide for students besides the basic classrooms that I find uncomfortable and a bit claustrophobic to be in.
