Merced College Reviews
Merced College is a great community college to attend with very helpful staff that are there with you along the way. If I had any problems or concerns there was always someone who could help me find a way to fix my situation. In regards to applying to the school and registering for classes it took nothing but five easy steps and I was good to go. Also, programs like work study that help me get a job and gain some awesome knowledge and experience to take with me. Merced College has wonderful professors, top athletic programs and coaches, fun groups to be part of, and a wide variety of courses. If you're not sure what school you want to go to or don't want to spend a lot of money on tuition, this school is the way to go. This community college made my first two years an outstanding experience and I can say they helped me with growth process.
Merced college is a inexpensive and very viable community college. Some buildings are visibly dated but everything is still functional and works toward a productive environment. This is a purely commuter school, and the people found here are very nice and mature. Since the school is so inexpensive there are many students who are still trying to figure things out as I once was and a good handful who aren't entirely studious.
Overall my experience at Merced College has been good, I have not had any serious problems. The counselors are very supportive and helpful. So far I have gotten pretty good professors. In my opinion the food is delicious, my favorite food are the grilled cheese sandwiches with french fries its a must try. However, just like any other school it has its ups and downs. The only thing I would say should change is the size of the bookstore.
