The experience at McLennan Community College has been pretty
good although, there are some bad experiences but overall I've enjoyed my time at MCC. The staff whether it's the professors or advisors they are always there for anyones questions and concerns. The campus atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable for anyone who chooses to enroll in this community college. While we continue with the worldwide pandemic, MCC has put forth many efforts for students and staff to maintain social distancing and have made the online experience easier and less nerve wrecking for first timers.

McLennan Community College, home of the Highlanders, is a one of the most prestigious schools in Texas. During this pandemic, online courses have been mandatory and professors have made the experience nothing less than exceptional. Not only is online learning made easy for students with the proper equipment and connection, but tutoring and counseling services are offered as student resources as well. Because of this support, students are able to be comfortable and successful in the learning enviorment.
You are probably thinking that going to a community college isn't that great, and you probably want a full college experience, well let me tell you that attending Mclennan Community College is a great option, it is affordable, the classes are small (which mean that you get to know the teachers and the teachers get to know you), parking is free, there is a lot of diversity on campus, not only you can get an associate's, but if you wish to continue, you can go thru Texas Tech to complete your Bachelors (and you get to stay in Waco if that is more convenient for you) or you can always do what I did and get your basics out of the way and then transfer to a 4-four year University. As you can see, your options are plenty.
