The staff (financial aid, student accounts, advising, registrar office) has been extremely helpful whenever I have needed assistance. The professors have all been very knowledgeable and compassionate. I learned very valuable information in all of the courses I have taken ( both online and on campus). I attended a 4 year university prior to Massasoit and was a little hesitant if a 2 year school would teach me as well as a larger, more known, 4 year university. However, after attending Massasoit I feel that I have gained much more knowledge than at the 4 year university!

I have been enrolled in Massasoit for one semester so far. I have loved my experience. With smaller class sizes and professors that care, you can't beat it. I feel like I'm getting a great education, at an affordable price, that will set me up for success in my future endeavors. Advisors are always available with any questions. I've been especially impressed with the communication from the President during the COVID-19 pandemic. There has been nightly updates and it seems they are doing their best to keep everyone in the loop.
I love how easy it was to switch my major. They offer free Microsoft word 2010, PowerPoint, excel, etc.. and it is easy to install. On our advisement day they cancel all day classes in order to make students seeing their advisor possible.
On the first floor of the student center they offer free tutoring so if you are struggling in a course there is someone to help you. I personally took advantage of this last semester for one of my Essays in English, and found it very helpful, she helped edit my paper and went over the reasons why it needed improvement and gave me tips on how I can better my papers in the future. Overall Massasoit Community College is a great 2-year college, and I would highly recommend it to recent graduates start their college careers who even someone thinking of transferring schools.
