Overall experience is great. Online classes are the best part. In person classes are a alright, depending on the professor.
The professors are alright for a community college. Most are caring and understanding, but there are some who will try to fail everyone.
Academic counselors are horrible at their jobs, however. The teachers are better at it than them. The counselor's will actively discourage you from your goals. Don't let them do that to you!
My Conclusion: I have been blessed with amazing professors at massasoit overall. With many taking a key interest in each student's lives, goals, and passions.

My Conclusion: I have been blessed with amazing professors at massasoit overall. With many taking a key interest in each student's lives, goals, and passions.
The staff (financial aid, student accounts, advising, registrar office) has been extremely helpful whenever I have needed assistance. The professors have all been very knowledgeable and compassionate. I learned very valuable information in all of the courses I have taken ( both online and on campus). I attended a 4 year university prior to Massasoit and was a little hesitant if a 2 year school would teach me as well as a larger, more known, 4 year university. However, after attending Massasoit I feel that I have gained much more knowledge than at the 4 year university!
I truly believe the staff want to see students excel. There are many different areas of study to chose from that fall under certificate programs or Associate's Degree programs. The MassTranfer initiative has streamlined the process to continue onto baccalaureate level coursework. I can speak to the Nursing program in particular - I feel prepared to work as a nurse when I graduate. The program is one of the most affordable nursing degrees in the state. I completed my prerequisites at Massasoit. I will always promote community colleges. You cannot beat the cost for the high quality teaching you will experience.
