Maria College of Albany Reviews
Maria college's nursing program is known for being tough; it's not joke, it requires a lot of time studying and reading. Although it's challenging and requires a lot of hard work, it definitely prepares you for the nursing world and gives you a solid education. The professors are great though, even though its hard, they definitely work hard to teach us and genuinely care about us. They will accommodate and do all they can to help us succeed. I'm glad to have been able to have such a wonderful experience!
I had gone to two of the local Community Colleges prior to transferring to Maria College of Albany for Nursing. In all honesty, it is by far the best decision I have made, I am extremely content. The classes are more intimate and hands on, the instructors and faculty are wonderful, approachable, and very supportive. If I had to do it all over again, I would absolutely recommend beginning or continuing an education at Maria College of Albany!
The professors and staff are very personable and easy to talk to. They want to assist the students in every way possible, which is awesome! There are some issues with financial aid that make it slightly difficult to get the textbooks, but there are some copies in the library and Learning Resource Center. There are some awesome supports on campus for all sorts of academic as well as personal issues. It's easy to make friends here because the community and atmosphere at this college is so welcoming!
