Class sizes are great! At the local university (UCONN), 6+ students had no desks in a non-air-conditioned building in one class, and 10+ had no desks and/or had to sit on the floor for class in a building where constant construction on campus would drown out the professor. MCC is good at keeping class sizes reasonable and not offering students a spot in the course where they cannot provide adequate facilities for a good learning environment.

My program of study is Engineering. Though most of the engineering/science field professors have been great, there has been no guarantee. One bad professor can ruin an entire base of knowledge for a student, and then they would face great difficulties at a university level. Curriculum has proven to be nothing daunting, and very manageable. Facilities are clean, but there are few quiet locations to focus and do homework, particularly with an internet connection and/or place for a laptop for homework. There have been no internship or job opportunities mentioned.
This school has the most difficult financial aid office that I have had ever had to deal with, including other community colleges and a university. Professors are very hit-or-miss; either they are extremely intelligent in their fields and care about their students, or they are simply teaching part-time for the supplemental income. I had one professor who regularly showed up 30+ minutes late and e-mailed after class should have begun to let his students know.
