Lourdes University offered excellence in faculty, programs and schedule to complete my additional two years required for a Bachelor Degree in Religious Studies (Major: Theology / Minor: Ecumenical Relations). The staff, faculty, students and location provided a comfortable, inclusive, respectful and positive holistic experience. I served in administration staff positions at School of Medicine - University of California Davis and recently finishing my career in Diversity, Inclusion, Media Relations & Community Engagement at Texas A&M University-Commerce - President's Office. My volunteer work in parish health ministry, choir/music, lay ministry service and Diocesan board member at Episcopal Church has been well served.

Review Your College
Lourdes University was once just Lourdes College when I first started out. This university has changed a lot, and for a small private university, it has grown. Lourdes gained more sports programs and new buildings for more students. The professors truly care about the students education and is willing to fight for your degree. The one change that I do wish to see is seeing the Art Department grow. Art was and still is important to the nuns and sisters that still live at Lourdes, but the art program just doesn't seem to get its spark like it used to.
Pretty good this upcoming fall will be my first semester at Lourdes University. I'm a transfer student from Ohio Christian University. I will be plying basketball for Lourdes University. Since this school is a NAIA D2 they do not give out full ride athletic scholarship's so I need this scholarship in order to be comfortable financially. So far I really like this school. The best thing would have to be the apartments, they don't have dorm's but they do have residents halls which are fully furnished.
