Louisiana State University Reviews
I have had nothing but good experiences when dealing with my university. I love the fact that they focus so much on academics and have many good programs such as biology, engineering, and math. The campus is one of the most beautiful places ever and I am able to see it everyday. The sports programs are great, especially considering our football team won the 2019 national championships. The campus is very diverse so it is easy to find people of al races and ethnicities to talk with, making it a very comfortable environment to be in. The housing, especially the on-campus apartments are nice and the professors are all very smart and clearly know what they are doing. The student life is nice because there are over 400 clubs and several programs that you can jin as a student, so getting involved is very easy. The only thing I would say is the safety could be a little bit better and besides the general area there isn't much to do in the city. Overall I love my school and am happy!
As a freshman, LSU offered several new student functions to acclimate to college life. The resources offered seemed top notch and the campus has an old school cozy Cajun comfortable feel. I felt like the diversity was wide and the fact that LSU won a National Championship for football made every weekend in the fall electric! My dorm room had a total nostalgic feel and the food on and round campus is outstanding! LSU overall gives an eagerness to learn approach with the layout of the campus.
LSU is a wonderful place to be! It's something that grows on you like the moss on the oak trees all around the beautiful campus. Student life is phenomenal and fun, with an unlimited amount of things to do. Definitely get involved in all the service opportunities like Dance Marathon. Sports are a can't miss, personal favorites are Football and Gymnastics. Crazy big events or even the smallest of friend groups to make. Some dorms are in rough shape, but new ones are being built almost every other day it feels like. You won't be disappointed.
