Louisiana State University Reviews
What I love about LSU is all of the resources that are available to students in order for them to succeed. Whether you are having trouble picking classes, finding extracurricular activities to join, picking a major or minor, keeping your grades up, and more, LSU is bound to have some resource to help you out. There are career and academic centers full of friendly and knowledgeable people who are ready to help you. There are hundreds of clubs centered around various interests, so there is something for everyone. The student body and faculty are so diverse, and the Dean is always looking for ways to create a more inclusive, safe, and educational environment. On top of all of that, LSU is a powerhouse for sports. Even if you aren't athletic or have ever been interested in sports, you will find a home in some athletic event here at LSU. The student life is spectacular, and you will always have something to do and great people to do it with. Geaux Tigers!
Geaux Tigers! I chose LSU over 3 other major university. I felt like I belonged from the first day. The classes are challenging, but you soon realize that this school is "no joke". The instructors are there to help and will at anytime. The weather is nice almost year round. There are plenty of organizations to get involved in. The sports are fantastic--especially football! You have got to be in Death Valley to feel the electricity of the fans. I love this school. I made the right choice.
So far my college experience has been great! I have so many opportunities to discover who I want to be and what I want to do. I also have so many resources that help me get through my classes such as SI sessions, study groups, office hours, and fellow classmates. Besides the academic aspect, the social aspect has allowed me to make so many friends that share the same experience I am having. I can talk to anyone and not have to worry about the fact that I am a freshman or that I am still figuring out this whole college thing. People at LSU accept each other and realize that we are all in the same boat. We have each other, we support on another, and we work everyday together to strive for the dream of walking across that stage in those purple robes and caps. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't hesitate to choose LSU because the tradition, motivation, and spirit are what fuels the students on my campus.
