Ihave attended Los Angeles Mission College for almost 5 years. I really like how many of the courses I have taken had awesome instructors who were able to provide the help their students needed and were extremely clear and easy to understand when teaching the course. However, what I do wish to see change are the staff that work in the offices such as the counseling office, Financial Aids office and a couple other offices. There are some employees that provide excellent service to their students and those who plan to attend this college, and then there are employees who are no help and provide poor service.

I like LAMC a lot, I love taking as many classes as I want whether online or not. Both campus are really well made and really clean! There are many opportunities for transferring out as well as getting an associates degree in as little as two years!
The campus is pretty and small, so it's not difficult to find where the buildings for classes are. There are staff within the school that are dedicated in helping their students reach their goals, and I find the classes challenging but also practical in my field of study. Most of my frustration comes from the rude staff members I've encountered who don't like to answer questions and counselors who don't seem to know what programs or degrees the school offers.

My advice to anyone attending this college or any community college is to do your research and check the requirements for the school you plan on transferring to, especially if they have major-specific criteria.
