Lord Fairfax Community College Reviews
My time studying there has been nothing but a good experience. The best thing about the school is its faculty! They are always there to help any student in need of help. Lord Fairfax is overall a very welcoming community. No one is judged by their culture, gender, or sexual orientation.
It started off rocky. The school is very uneducated on people with service dogs. I eventually stopped bringing my dog to class because it became more of a hassle having him with me. Teachers would cross boundaries, and students would touch him, talk to him, and even THROW things at him. I'm hopeful that starting at a university in a city will be better, as service dogs are a more common occurrence. I did have a fair amount of respectful and educated professors, though. And all the professors I had were excellent in terms of teaching.
Great teachers! Most classes were fun, yet challenging. The lady in the financial aid department was super friendly and helpful. It didn't take long to learn the blackboard. Campus police are nice and reliable. I like having them there, especially when I leave after dark. Having the lounge is nice. We enjoy playing ping pong in between classes.
