I like the people I have been able to meet at LIU. There are many things wrong with the school though. For starters, President Klein is going to run the school into the ground, get rid of her now!
Review Long Island University - Brooklyn
The school host career and internships workshops/seminars, resume helps and more. And there have been great testimonies of student finding dream jobs/internships. They really do help with job placements. They are signs all around campus for employment opportunities from different companies from all work sector. It's usually up to students to take advantage of these things. Sadly many don't.
I have had great classes at LIU and professors that I would highly recommend. Every professor had different styles to their teachings and so far I have had really great professors especially for my science classes. Professors really go in depth in trying to make you understand. This might seem like a lot of work load to other student, however if you overlook that and pay close attention you grasp the concept and would end up thanking the professors at the end of the day
