The people of Lone Star College have truly been accepting of me. It is safe to say that I have found a people and a home to dwell in whilst I await the coming storm of transferring to an undergraduate college. Nonetheless, this college is welcoming to any student of any education level.
I can honestly say without a doubt that the care and concern this college possesses for its own education system is extraordinary. The professors have gone above and beyond to nurture their students and develop their methods in a more personal manner.
The highlights are the libraries and the Christian organizations! It is nice to find people you can talk with and a place you can go to dwell in your own thoughts!
This college deserves an absolute 10 out of 10!

I first started at Lone Star as a dual credit student and I loved it! I am now working to finish my Associate's degree at the Tomball campus. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and willing to answer any questions you might have. I have never had a bad experience with any professors and they were super helpful and want to help you learn and understand the course material. There are so many different clubs and student organizations and there's always something fun going on-- whether it's involvement fairs, movie/ game nights, or other activities! I definitely recommend looking into their Dual Credit program if you are in high school and want a head start! I saved a ton of money that way and I will finish my associate's degree faster as well. They also offer plenty of fully-online classes that give you a ton of flexibility and allow you to work towards your degree from the comfort of your own home. Overall, I have enjoyed my experience at Lone Star and am glad I made this choice! :)
I've been to two different campuses; LSC-Tomball and LSC-Cyfair. Both campuses are really nice for a community college. I love the diversity and enjoy most of my professors. For most of the courses I completed, I've had awesome professors. They really show that they care for the well-being of their students and their success. The only thing I would say that I didn't enjoy are some of the advisors, sometimes it feels impossible to contact them. Usually, the best method to reach them is through email, however, they'll respond 3-4 days later. Overall attending Lonestar has been amazing!
