We offer majors in physics and applied physics. If you wish to dive deeply into the physics of our physical universe, you will revel in the physics major. If you're drawn to a hands-on bent, you may prefer the engineering emphasis of applied physics. Students work on a variety of projects, such as creating simulations of complex behavior and designing products using magnetic nanoparticles.
