As a freshman from Georgia attending Lincoln University, I did not know what to expect. Lincoln University has motivated me even more to obtain a Batchelors degree in Business Administration. It is great institution with helpful resources such as free tutoring and SI sessions. Lincoln University is also known for preparing its scholars for the real world after college by encouraging paying internships as well as having a job set up for the seniors that are graduating as long as they use their resources wisely. I know that this institution will better me and my future career.
Review Lincoln University - Missouri
Going to college has definitely been a life changing experience. I have made many friends in college. Many of which, will be lifelong friendships. The students at my school are always extremely helpful and want to see each other succeed. There have been many time that I was feeling overwhelmed with classes or just not understanding the professors lecture. Other students in my classes were always willing to step up and help in any way they could, providing alternative ways of studying the material or links to helpful resources. I have had an awesome college experience and would choose this school again and again.
The value of a degree at Lincoln University is average. Quite a few things could be improved to better the university, particularly internships and recruiting for a multitude of majors. Lincoln only provides internships and recruiting for majors such as Criminal Justice, Business, and Education if a student does not fall in those categorizes their resources are limited. The quality of the career services is moderate, depending on the student and his or her major. Alumni network is almost nonexistent on campus which unfortunately hinders the amount of opportunities students have.
