WELL! At first I didn't really won't to be here, because I wasn't ready to leave away from home and go off to college. But once I got adjusted to it, going to practice, training and workouts. Getting to know and i had got close to a few of the players. things started get better. I got to go to some of the Frat partys watching the Sorority and afraternitys step and stroll. was all new and exciting. But i really love the workouts the gym it's called THE LINK some may not like but not me. Also getting to meet students that's not from Missouri, different states some even from other countries. I have one of my famliy member that go here with me, that helped alot because I wasn't feeling being away from home. And football is one of the loves of my life so if that wasn't on the table I might would have went to a commuity college. My experience is getting better every day so far....
Being a Blue Tiger is great ! However there are some flaws that goes along with this school as well. August 2021 I will begin my second semester here at lincoln and I found out it’s incredibly hard to keep in contact with the financial aid department .With me being the first in my family to attend college I struggled with perfecting my Fafsa application so, I made a mistake . I tried contacting an officer to go over that mistake and no one would answer the phone or respond to emails. I went to the Administration offices just to ask a simple question. Other than that lincoln is a pretty great school. I felt very comfortable talking to staff and learning my way around campus. I also really enjoy how everything is near each other . The freshman hall is right next to the Library and the Cafeteria which is very smart . It makes the Freshman avoid just getting lost . Finally I appreciate how the healthcare is free for students regardless their income background.
Lincoln University is a good college for people that cannot afford more expensive colleges but want a similar education. Overall a large portion of the professors are very enthusiastic and are able to keep students interested in their classes. The classes are worth what they cost and the campus itself is fairly loose in design. The only downsides of Lincoln are its location and campus infrastructure being unkempt in areas especially the parking lots. Lincoln is extremely diverse and inclusive.
