The professors are great and gives you time to learn about what you want to major in! I enjoyed how much my success coach wanted to help me and how much they cared for their student's success. I learned so much at Lincoln Land and saved so much money in the long run which has helped me out tremendously. I was nervous about going there because all of my other friends had found their footing at 4-year universities, but it gave me the chance to do things at my pace and have the opportunity to take it slow. I would recommend Lincoln Land to anyone who wants to further their education, but wants to do it at the pace that suits you. The professors really do care a lot about you and try their best to help you learn, even the hardest of concepts. The student life likes to put on activities to make it feel more like college. Overall, I appreciated my time at Lincoln Land and would not take it for granted.
Lincoln Land has smaller classrooms which makes it easier for both the students and teachers to engage. Sometimes you only have a class of six. So I was able to get one on one time with my teacher when I needed extra help. I’m glad Lincoln Land isn’t overpacked with students in the classrooms. Smaller class sizes also made it easier to focus on what was being taught. Whenever I am in a large class I find several distractions. Things that I would like to see changed at Lincoln Land would be more programs. Although, Lincoln Land has many programs I wish they’d have more to offer. I changed my major to Dental and found out they only had a Dental Assistant class. This only allows training and a certificate at the end. I think they should offer a Dental Hygienist program. Overall, I am attending this College this upcoming fall and spring again!
This school is a complete joke, despite the few professors who actually take the time to make lesson plans and actually care about their students. Every student is assigned a Student Success Coach, whom is supposed to serve as a guide as to which classes will take you forward to a 4-year university. Do NOT even waste your time with this. I was in the Architecture program, which they did away with while I was in the middle of completing classes in my curriculum. They then tried to steer me toward Engineering Science, which was 2 years worth of courses which I didn't even need for an Architecture degree. Admissions counselors would hang up on me 50% of the time if I ever called with a question or needed advice. This school is unionized, so the teachers get paid a lot of money, and most of them do have the ego which goes along with that. You will be belittled, berated, screamed at, and they will make you feel stupid as can be. Please take this advice and choose a different school.
