I've had a great experience at Lassen Community College, I've hit a few speed bumps along the way through my academic journey but the staff at Lassen Community College has always done whatever they could to help me succeed and reach my goals. Everyone from the counselors, financial aid, teachers, and tutors are all so kind and have the best interest in mind for every student at Lassen Community College. If I could think of one way to improve Lassen Community College it would probably be to add in more programs and training for careers so students wouldn’t need to travel to attend a trade school.

I attended Lassen Community College in Susanville, California. I was recruited to play College Volleyball. I was recruited all the way from Arizona to play and moved across a couple of states. When I came the coach didn't recruit any new girls nor does the dorms have any central air conditioning in this 100 degree weather. The dorms are smaller than expected and don't have a kitchen that is open around the clock for the athletes and other students to cook for themselves.
Lassen has been such a god send for me. I'm returning to school in my 30s and I needed support and resources. Their EOPS program helps me with books, counseling, workshops on succeeding and support if I need it. They also have a bomb learning center with computers, tutors, snacks and rest areas. The campus cannot be beat, its so beautiful. All in all, I'm so thankful I found Lassen.
