Lanier Technical College Reviews
I earned a degree in Business Technology and landed a job in Administration during the time I was working on my degree. Every single course I have taken for my degree I have been able to apply to my current job. Now that I have graduated and earned experience in an administrative position, it opens up the door for all sorts of opportunities. The teachers here are great and really take the time to work with you and want you to succeed. My student advisor has been amazing with helping me plan my next steps. This technical college is perfect for someone who knows what they want and want to get into the workforce quickly. It also is perfect for getting your core classes done if you plan to head to a four year college. You can get the same college courses for a cheaper price, and spend less time at the university of your choice to get a bachelors. The admissions office is amazing at helping you map at your future. I would recommend this college to everyone.
I attended collefe here when I first graduated from high school. I went for a degree in Horticulture. I ended having kids and having to drop out due to stress and financial difficulties. I'm returning and this time I am going for Medical Coding. I love the campuses, the staff are very helpful, friendly and honest. The teachers I've met and have had classes with have been great. They are very knowledgeable, flexible and understanding when things happen (like family emergencies). It's been very easy to get myself back into school and I'm looking forward to getting this degree finished quickly.
I like how there are various campuses around different counties. However, I’ve gotten behind on taking certain courses because most of the time, certain classes are only available in the counties that are too far from where I live. I would love it if each campus could somehow make every core course available so that students don’t have to travel far to take a required course for their major.
