This was completely new to me being that this was my first time attending college after being out of high school for 110 plus years, so you could imagine the anxiety I had once I decided to finally apply not knowing all that needed to be done. Everyone was very helpful with helping me get started and pointed me into the right direction where I needed to go or what I needed to do next. I was looking for a place where I needed to go and was confused on where to go so one of the employees was kind enough to stop what she was doing just to show me where exactly I needed to go. I really appreciated that! Another employee also helped me out because I was afraid I had missed the deadline to get help with my tuition for the Summer. I could find the link so she emailed it to me to try it and thankful I got the help I needed. If it wasn't for her help I probably wouldn't have been able to start school this Summer as planned. I can't wait to get my certification and excel in my career!
I haven't started classes yet, but every time I reach out to contact someone at the school, someone always reaches out within a day. It's very comforting knowing that the administrators are on top of communication between themselves and students, including prospective students, such as myself.
All the staff at LSCO are very helpful. It is a great place to start college. The only negative thing I have is the Gator Book Pack. Yes, the Gator Book Pack helps you select the correct materials for your classes. Still, it is ridiculous when you have to drive to Lamar University to pick up your class materials because LSCO closed down its campus bookstore. I know you can get your class materials shipped, but then you run into the possibility of your materials not arriving on time or getting lost or messed up in the mail.
