Lamar Community College Reviews
Before I attended Lamar Community College I was doing on-line classes through another college. I decided to switch to Lamar because they had more options and I wanted to get a better feel of the college life. All my classes were accepted and transferred. Lamar offers a great tutoring lab with access to tutors and unlimited use to the computers. The faculty made me feel very welcomed. The teachers are not only knowledgeable in their field but also experienced. Lamar Community College has a great Ag. program and Nursing but also for their Nursing degrees. They have many other Associates programs but these are the popular ones. The dorms include three main floors, women's, men's, and a co-ed floor. For student life they have various clubs that anyone can join and they also have occasional activities. Overall, I believe Lamar Community College is great to enroll in.
Lamar has been good, it is good to meet new people and go to activities on campus. The sports teams are very involved in the community especially softball. For athletes at the school there is no free time when you’re in season. You’re either in class or practicing and then coaches schedule study hall for all of their athletes.
The nursing program is amazing! Great instructors. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in nursing.
