Fun and engaging experience. If you are local and plan on transferring this should be your go to, no party scene however very casual. i enjoyed getting my associates and you will to.
Very challenging teachers are available and enjoy helping you succeed. the switch to online during covid was fast and efficient. overall a good experience.
At Lakeshore Technical College they strive to ensure their students have the best chance of success in their education and into their career following. Each staff member I have encountered personally have been nothing short of amazing, they go above and beyond for their students and always make them feel comfortable and like they are not just a number. In my opinion, I would not like anything to change about this institution.
I am currently enrolled in the medical assistant program through Lakeshore Technical College and opted to take the first courses online due to currently being a stay at home caretaker for three children ages 8, 9, and 12 and the uncertainty of them returning to school this fall due to the COVID 19 pandemic. I am new to the online learning structures and design, and I admit I was initially apprehensive and a bit intimidated. However, when I signed in the first time to the school's website I found that the resources provided to their students exceeded my expectations. There were step by step instructions on how to register and log into the forums, training modules to help familiarize you with the layout and different features of the sight and a variety of tips and contact personnel if you needed further assistance
During my time at Lakeshore Technical college, I was able to obtain the necessary knowledge and hands-on skills required to become a proficient and well-rounded paramedic. Every faculty member, ranging from the chefs to the instructores themselves, provided each student with the support and expertise that is so desperately needed througout college.
My experience at lakeshore has not been much but the environment is very encouraging to learn. Also the fact that it is not a very expensive college. Not to mention it prepares for the outside world. With great teachers, and staff. Also there to help you along the way.
Lakeshore Technical College is a fantastic school that has so much to offer for their students, a variety of options, and a copious amount of resources. So far my experience has been nothing but wonderful along with everyone else that I have heard from. This school truly cares about its students and does everything they can to make it all around the best experience. This college is constantly trying to improve things for the students and employees which makes this such a great place to be apart of.
I LOVE my college!!! They really push you to work hard and do your best. I got A’s and B’s in high school, but at LTC they pushed me and I recurved my second 4.0! I also have taken the position of VP of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
I love attending LTC. It’s changed my life.

I was in the 3rd graduating class. The coursework was informative and applicable across many platforms and the instructions were some of the greatest mentors of my career.
Lakeshore Technical College is an awesome college! Instructors really want you to succeed and so many resources available to help make that happen!
Beautiful campus, applicable classes, great personable feel, extensive and helpful student resources.
My experience at LTC was remarkable because not only is education is given so you could get where you want be. The people at LTC is will help you every step of way when you need them.
The program I am enrolled in is strictly at night, for those of us who work during the day. Which is the exact reason why I'm taking it. I have not had any hassles thus far. I have not had to transfer credits because this is my first year.
The career center at my school does an amazing job helping students find a job after graduation. There are many job prospects in the nursing field. Also, my peers are great resources as well.
The courses I have this semester are very well taylored for my field of work. The professors are so helpful in making sure we understand what we are learning, and they take the time to explain things if we don't. My classes are very small and consist of an average of 10 students. Which is great for one-on-one time.
Job prospects are very high in this field right now. The alumni network has a very strong connection in my field of work. Employers are always on campus recruiting new prospects. The quality of the career center is amazing, they're so helpful with any questions we have and direct us toward the right resources.
There is a huge need for nurses in the world which is why I've decided after 15 years of being a CNA to go back to college for my LPN. This specific program is geared towards adults who already work full time jobs and would like to take the course at night. It is a new program at our college and I'm proud to be a part of it. The workload is what I expected for the 2 classes I am taking this semester. I already have an internship lined up at my current job.
