What separated Lake Wa Tech from the other schools i was looking at attending this year was the 100% devotion to the students. This is my first quarter here which just started and i barley made enrollment deadlines. I had a few issues with online registration and i had emailed a few different faculty members, some whom aren't responsible for admissions or enrollment, for help over this last weekend. By Monday morning, i had a response from every single one of them! One person in particular who isn't even enrollment got me squared away on a Sunday! And all my other email responses had said "2ell it looks like you're already enrolled" lol
I graduated as an Accounting Associate in 2020 from Lake Washington Institute of Technology. The very good Professors R. Jacobsen, L. Barnes, L. Lockwood, and M. Keigley are very supportive, and they always provide a fast response to email and questions. They easily go the extra mile to be sure that the students who need help will be helped. I witnessed this frequently.
I am grateful to have experienced this high standard and was able to achieve my desired degree.
After experiencing issues, I got good support from IT department (Jessie Bougeois ;IT Services Technician II).
Conclusively, LWTech enriched my life in so many ways and without this experience my future would look quite different.
Kind regards,
T. Rosen

My overall experience with the college has been very positive. I enjoyed the coursework and the professors.
Some of the courses could have been a little more challenging. There were some professors that made it very easy, and I wished there was more of a challenge.
My program at the college was still in its early development. So, there wasn't a lot of diversity in the program. However, I am please to say that has been changing recently and the program is growing. There are now a handful of professor directly involved with the program and it's coursework. I really enjoy the depth and richness diversifying has created. The team who teaches my program is made of brilliant people. They collaborate and build off one another to create a balanced educational experience.
