The instructors are the best. They care about each and everyone of their students. If a student is falling behind, quiet, or confused they will talk with them personally and help them through any problems. The courses are set up in a way that you learn, but have a great time doing so. Time flies!
If you're looking for a school that isn't overwhelming Lake Area Tech is the one for you. The staff and students are all so friendly and always willing to help. The staff is always having fun opportunities to make friends and be involved in activities and also ways to earn some cash. This is one of the best schools to go to!
My first year was filled with generals that lead into the nursing career. Each semester was 14-16 credits (and will continue to be). I was very found of my general instructors and cannot wait to be with my Nursing instructors. I found anatomy and physiology to be my favorite subjects because they applied to the nursing career so well. During my first few weeks of nursing school, I will already be doing clinicals and on the job training.
