Kilgore college is an excellent school to attend, especially for people who may have taken a couple of years off or more. The professors and staff work extremely well with students and are always communicative. Went here for 4 years and have had nothing but a good experience. There is a variety of different aged students as well as different backgrounds. There are plenty of resources available to anyone who seeks the help. They also have free lunches through the churches 4 times a week. The teachers really make sure you understand what you are being taught and highly encourage students to ask for help and help each other understand the lessons better. One thing I have noticed is most teachers have real world experience with what they are teaching, and can show you where you will be using what is being taught. I highly recommend attending here!
The only thing I did not like was that the dorms have not been improved in years, and you can obviously tell. Everything else is wonderful! The gym is very big, nice, and offers great equipment for athletes all the way to first-timers. The Brew is always warm and welcoming, and I love that they serve Starbucks products along with a few other good snacks. The professors are very understanding, especially right now in this crisis. It's a wonderful experience so far.
Kilgore College is one of the best places to achieve a 2 year degree. They offer many different majors and have plenty of on campus activities to participate in. They truly make you feel like you matter and your thoughts count. Kilgore College is somewhere you should consider for achieving your 2 year degree!
