Kent State University - Stark Reviews
Firstly, I enjoy the campus. It is within 20mins from my home. It is a small campus and easy to navigate for this ole dog returning to finish her degree. I love the landscape. The green grass, the simple little trees, and the clean look makes me feel like the college cares about even the smallest details. The professors I have had the opportunity to learn from are all wise, kind, and entertaining. I have learned much from them and am inspired. I very much love this school and am glad this is where I will be obtaining my bachelors. The only thing I would change are the small children's desks. They do not flatter this middle age body I have obtained during the course of working hard to get where I am at. Besides the desks, I love this campus!
Kent State Stark is a nice branch of Kent State, it’s small and local for those that may not want to stay on campus or for those that like small class size. The academics offered are fairly good although they don’t offer everything, so you may have to eventually transfer to the main branch. Professors at this location based on my experience are really good, along with the staff. Everyone at Kent Stark is very welcoming, caring and personal. On the down side Kent Stark does not offer sports and the gym is very poor. If you are looking for a good place to work out, Kent starks facility is not the place unfortunately. Kent Stark also has a few outdoor facilities including a track and a tennis court which are nice but run down. Overall Kent State Stark is a very nice university, I recommend it to anyone that is looking for a smaller school that has a cheaper tuition.
Kent State Start is a great school. The scene here is very calm and quiet. The professors are great! If you are looking to have a great night life and a good party scene this school is not for you. however, this is a great place to get all your required classes out of the way before you start getting into your major classes. I am currently going back for my second degree and I am doing the same as I did before, I started Kent State Stark and transferred to Kent State Main my Junior year. I am currently taking my required courses to get into the nursing program at Kent State Stark and will transfer to Kent State Main once again once I get into the program.
