Kent State University - Stark Reviews
Kent State Start is a great school. The scene here is very calm and quiet. The professors are great! If you are looking to have a great night life and a good party scene this school is not for you. however, this is a great place to get all your required classes out of the way before you start getting into your major classes. I am currently going back for my second degree and I am doing the same as I did before, I started Kent State Stark and transferred to Kent State Main my Junior year. I am currently taking my required courses to get into the nursing program at Kent State Stark and will transfer to Kent State Main once again once I get into the program.
As a satellite campus of Kent State University, there are no dorms or athletics to speak of. However, this is a plus if you are looking for great education without the distraction of a "party scene". Most professors are amazing and passionate about their field of research. Campus is small and easy to get around, very clean and well maintained. New science and nursing building is great and gives a better learning environment for biology/nursing students.
Kent State University at Stark is a relatively small campus compared to most, but that brings the faculty and staff connect more with the students. The faculty and staff are understanding and considerate. The professors within the classrooms keep the lectures lively and intriguing. Each building is contemporary with an overlook of vibrant campus.
