Review Keiser University - Fort Lauderdale
I was never a good student before attending Keiser. Since I enrolled, I've fallen in love with Keiser University and their methods. One course a month has allowed me to fully focus on my studies, while maintaining a 4.0 GPA! With that said, I can now claim to be a proud member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, something I never imagined I would be so blessed to say. Keiser has become a second home for me; my fellow classmates, professors and deans are my extended family. The amount of support and positivity that radiates throughout every classroom I have ever been apart of us overwhelming at times. The only thing I will say that is a downfall is their parking lot, which they are currently in the process of fixing. This school has given me the confidence and knowledge within myself; ultimately changing me forever and more. I could not be more grateful for the amount of support they have given me whenever I have had an inkling of doubt within myself.
Keiser University (KU) renewed my hope in achieving my dream of becoming a Physician Assistant (PA). I thought I would never be able to apply to a PA program with my shot GPA from FAU. From KU, I was able to graduate with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with a 3.83 gpa. I did this in a very short amount amount of time because of their genius 1 class per month setup. I do not know of any other university who offers their classes in such a brilliant way! Thank you Keiser University I am indebted! (Both figuratively and financially, but it was worth it!)
Honestly, if you look up the reviews for KU it will scare the pants off of you! If it does, let it! Stay away! Run for your life if you are under the age of 30 and are immature. If it doesn't scare you, then go for it! KU is a wonderful school. The teachers are pretty great if you are an on-campus student. If you are an online student, you might as well prepare yourself for teaching yourself all of the material with absolutely no help what-so-ever. The online teachers WILL NOT help you at all! Sometimes, they disappear until the end of the semester and then its "poor you." The online courses are extremely convenient for working parents who wish to further their education. It's one class every four weeks and four classes a semester which is very convenient. Although, it's over $5,000 a semester. You pay for what you get! The course work online is a lot easier than what people make it seem like. If you want to get your degree fast, easily, and without hassle other than with the finance department then this school is for you. I know it sounds like I am bashing them but I am not. I am just being honest. I love this school more than any school I have ever been to. However, Mr.Arthur Keiser will put holes in all four of your pants pockets and your wallet. WARNING: Be very careful about fine print and details when it comes to the finance part of signing up for this school. They have little ways of making you owe at the end of your degree. I dropped a class before the "time limit" was up and they re-enrolled me the next semester into that course without my knowledge or consent! Unfortunately, paper work proved I gave consent when I re-enrolled to their school. I just didn't understand what I was signing.Even though I didn't have anymore courses to take that following semester they still re-enrolled me into that course and I dropped it thinking a mistake was made and ended up having a $6,000 balance for that one class. The entire Finance department is extremely crooked!
