Kansas State University Reviews
Rating 3.86 out of 5 3,471 reviews
Kansas State University couldn't be more perfect for me and for what I'm majoring in. They have so many resources for students for all kinds of situations including research opportunities, on-campus jobs, tutoring, financial assistance and so much more. All of the instructors that I've had have been very open about expectations and how to succeed, and there are many advisors, instructors, etc, that you can reach out to when needing assistance or information. Though it is a very large campus it feels like home and it is easy to find your niche!
The education I have received thus far from Kansas State University has been exceptional. I have enjoyed getting involved in multiple clubs on campus as well as the food pantry, which has provided me with a great group of kind peers and adults. The culture of the school is wonderful. The only critic I have is that some of the professors are more interested in their research than teaching their students. However, this is not every professor! I have some professors here who the most wonderful people are and have been able to help me navigate my first few years in school. There is a small handful that I have come into contact with who seem that they wish they did not have to teach.
I really like the atmosphere here at K-State! Everyone is very welcoming, and everyone is very nice! I've had some good professors and some bad professors, but something that always helps is looking at rate my professor! Beyond that the campus is very nice, and you will always see someone smiling! Something that definitely can be improved is the parking, and the dorms. The dorms are in definite need of an update, and the parking is hard to come by. I find the parking situation especially aggravating because we all pay a lot of money to park on a campus where there is never anywhere to park!
