What I enjoyed most about KCKCC is the people. Internationals, out-of-state students and local students all interact and share the same experiences. There are plenty of groups, organizations and events that help us learn more about each other as a community. Everyone who attends should not be afraid to ask for help. Staff and students are always accessible and helpful to guide you to the resources you need. If I had to critique the college, I would say that there could be better food on campus. That could also expand an enjoyable environment in the cafeteria and meet more of the amazing people!

I started back in August of 2019 and I was on campus everyday, it started on time everyday. My teachers are diverse and very informative about what you are learning for the day and the week. Made sure If you learn differently they adjust for the students. When Covid-19 happened we quickly moved over to online and our teachers have made sure to communicate during this time while we are home. This has been a somewhat difficult time for teachers and students just because this has never happened for most school and I believe they have adjusted the best way we can.
I took 3 classes at KCKCC as a dual enrollment student. I took an online college algebra course with poor communication, but if I personally reached out to my professor, he was ready to answer questions. I also took a medical terminology class and a CNA class. Those classes both had the same instructor, and she was extremely helpful and friendly. I would take another class with her in a heartbeat. This college is very affordable.
