Jones County Junior College Reviews
Review Jones County Junior College
Jones county Junior College is a good high school transition into college. I love the passion most teachers have towards their careers. My school is not the biggest but it is truly a down to earth school. People are very nice and out going. Classes are very spread around campus, but the school itself is a great beginning in the college life. The amount of resources given to all of are expectacular! I love my school and I will choose it again if I had the decision to pick any different.
During my time at Jones I felt very happy and secure in my studies outside of my major, but the music education program did not prepare me to succeed upon transferring to another school. Some of the teachers take pride in saying, "most of you will fail or drop this class." This is one of the worst things a teacher can brag and say about a class. The theory teacher there does not have available office hours for help with homework, and does not answer questions in class. As for the ear training teacher, he lets his class run wild. These people are not professional. If you are considering going here for music, this may be a waste of your time.
I love this school! I enjoy going to the BSU, hanging out with friends, and even going to class. The teachers make class interesting and it is so easy to make friends here. I would recommend to anyone to attend JCJC!
