Johnson and Wales University is a small but nice campus. Every residence hall is walking distance from the Academic Center, the Wildcat Center, and the student services building. We have roosters, ducks and ducklings, and cats walking around which for me brightens my day. The buildings are modern and the classrooms are tech savvy with touch screen projectors, walls in disguise as whiteboards and cool colored chairs to add a pop of color. The cafeteria is called The Mix, and they have a variety of foods and drinks to meet everybody's nutrition standards. Right down the way is the Wildcat Center where most campus events are held. Overall, Johnson and Wales University or as we call it, J-WU, is a great campus with professors that are eager to help, and is a great experience both academically and socially as we are right in the heart of Miami!

Going and visiting my dream college was amazing! I got to see the real classroom and was able to see where I would be living, where I would be eating and where I was able to hang out with new friends. The students are all really cool and are super nice. I am so excited to stay there!
During my last 3 years of being there, I must admit there were some challenges that I still face with the university. However, I learnt a lot through the course, and I’m happy to say that I can apply that when I work in the industry, and inform others as well. Most of the professors are very passionate about what they do and I think that that’s a major part in learning. What I would like to see changed is the food, we protest and talk about it in student council meetings, but nothing is done about it. Therefore, we have to eat or or sometimes for eat at all. I’m hoping that they get that situated for students entering JWU.
