My overall experience at Johns Hopkins was a great one. I do not regret attending the school. The number of opportunities and activities for students are innumerable, especially for what I wanted to do. I learned from great professors, but aside from that, the other students are what make Hopkins, Hopkins. As a student, I spent a lot of time as a peer-tutor and a member of a service fraternity, two things that I am incredibly passionate about (teaching and community service). Hopkins fosters an incredible collaborative working environment, where students learn the best from each other. The on-campus food selection was quite great, and near campus, we had a great selection of restaurants. Living in Baltimore, I was able to explore the city, something I wish I did earlier, but nonetheless, I was able to explore the food scene in Baltimore and try cuisines that I had never tried before. The friends that I made at Hopkins are those that I will cherish for my lifetime.
I do not really have anything to say about online classes, as I did not take any classes online. However, I have heard from many other classmates that the online classes were well taught.
It was great to learn and apply for the doctorate program. It has been a great experience to even be considered for admission.
Easy and responsive. The application process was without issue and had many opportunities for continued information. Johns Hopkins is prestigious for many reasons, but mostly for their dynamic education.
The online learning experience with Johns Hopkins University prepared me for the current struggles we commonly see with online learning. The staff and curriculum provide me with the tools I need to be successful in an online learning environment.
I am currently enrolled in the Engineering for Professionals program which allows me to complete my Masters degree while also maintaining my full time job. I absolutely love it and the material and help you get from every single one of the staff is absolutely worth the money.
I am currently enrolled in the Engineering for Professionals program which allows me to complete my Masters degree while also maintaining my full time job. I absolutely love it and the material and help you get from every single one of the staff is absolutely worth the money. The lectures are easy to follow and the graded work is also good. It is interesting because while I do most of my classes online, closer towards graduation I must go out to JHU and complete an in person lab. This really helps bring it all together and makes it feel like I am in a classroom environment.
Attending Johns Hopkins after four years at a mediocre public high school in Rhode Island changed my life. JHU taught me many things in addition to all the book learning such as independence, time management, the value of hard work, and the knowledge that I could compete with the smartest kids around.
No online experience as I am far too old for that. I’m sure it would have been fine but I can’t comment on it.
I had a lovely time in my undergraduate experience at Hopkins. I learned a lot, and your classmates are extremely intelligent. There are issues and areas where the school could improve, but overall I learned a lot and met great people.
Amazing online experience - particularly in the middle of the pandemic. Faculty are exceptional online teachers and are available every day of the week.
Tremendous faculty. Blend between business and public health programs enables using different lenses to view problems from different angles. Online programs are well-considered, and alumni network is amazing.
My online learning experience has been great with little or no disruption from my in-person coursework. The professors, TA's and Hopkins administration have been wonderful, understanding, compassionate and patient due to COVID-19. Being at Hopkins online and in-person have both been a great experience!
It was a great experience. The professors were phenomenal as always. I learned a lot as they were very knowledgeable
I have taken three online classes. My main class was one to one and worked great. We planned all the classes on zoom and sometimes send some files before connecting, so we could review them together while the zoom class.
Great academics. Students are very driven and hardworking. Professors are great too. Lots of resources to be the best student you can
I'm attending the Johns Hopkins Peabody Conservatory of Music, and I can firmly say that it's the perfect fit for me. The campus is small but very charming with a lot of history. Everyone is very nice, and I feel at home even though I moved across the country to attend.
