The university provided me with the opportunity to work with a leading epidemiologist in the Science, Health and Living Systems BA program. Additionally I was exposed to other faculty members that were approachable and available.
This is a commuter school for working adults. The school does help as much as possible and has some great resources.
The classes are small, and you are treated as a human being and an adult.
There is very little hand holding, and you are expected to be responsible for your own education.
It is a good school, and I am lucky to go there. I will probably continue on into one of their graduate programs.

My experience at this school has been relatively simple in the process of admissions and financial aid, whixh is also a great thing. The classea have been a great challenge and the professors are approachable and gladly offer extra help.
What I enjoy about JFKU is that it is a small campus. The class sizes are not too crowded and I work very closely with my professors. When I first enrolled, I had no idea that this campus has a JD program which for me is perfect, I do not have to go searching for another school to fulfill my goal.
