Jeff State is a great college to start out at! It is very cheap compared to most other colleges. There is no dorms or anything of that sort since it is a community college. I’ve been going here since I graduated and I will be done this upcoming fall semester. Very quick, cheap, and the teachers are very (most of them) helpful!
I have loved everything that Jeff State offers for me since I've been attending. They have done a great job on making sure all requirements are met before the actual due date, notifying the students on any new changes, and the range of how small or big the classes is great for those who decide to attend at Jeff State.
I think if they could improve in one area, I would say the page when an admitted or current student is trying to decide what term they'd like to register for. There are a few different terms in the spring like mini spring term or mini may term or even mini summer term and it becomes confusing not knowing which semester I'm registering for.

Over all the professors are super nice and straightforward with everything they are expecting. I have been struggling with school due to a medical eye condition and it has impacted on my Financial Aid status even if I provided medical records, which I think is unfair. I did have to drop a lot of my classes and fail the ones I couldn’t drop because of my medical issue. The FAFSA administration isn’t the most understanding though.
