Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) Reviews
Jefferson is surely an up and coming school! The university is in the works of upgrading dorms, class rooms, and food. Jeffersons freshman class is bigger than its ever been. The college scene on campus is amazing. It is a very inclusive school. I have never felt not welcomed by a student or professor. Great one on one time in small classes. Campus is extremely close to Philly which is honestly so fun. Manyunk is also a popular hot spot to hang with fellow students as the party scene is developing.
In my major, architecture, the program has great professors that help provide an open, creative environment that gets the students excited to learn. This environment is one that is carried throughout all classes I take, from writing to physics. Diversity on campus is something that is lacking, however the activities on campus make sure that members of such communities are more than welcome. The residence halls aren't all that great, they're uneven in that one hall gets cleaned daily and has air conditioning, while another gets cleaned a few times a week and has no air conditioning. Despite that, the food on campus is very good, with it having three different places to eat, including Starbucks that can be purchased with meal swipes.
Jefferson - East Falls has a super friendly environment and is all inclusive. The school really values their students and everyone is well acquainted for. The school is on the smaller side so you always see people you know all over campus. The area around campus is great and there is always something to do, plus, Center City is 20 minutes away!
