Jacobs University - Bremen Reviews
Jacobs was a home away from home. The school not only boasts an international student body but it really does have it- this is one thing I enjoyed about Jacobs, what you see online is what yo get in life. Since the is a small student population, there is a very tight-knit community feel about the school which is awesome if you want to make friends easily. There are so many campus activities to get involved in. I was personally a part of so many competitions and showcases which have helped me realize my potential and confidence as a singer and dancer. These were the moments I cherished the most outside of class time. Jacobs also offers so much support for international students e.g. they set appointment for us at the state office to register for our residence permits and renew them, we have insurance company representatives and bank representatives who come in to the campus and help us with setting up our accounts. We don'e even have to go to them.
The students and professors are very diverse, so the inter-cultural environment is definitely worth it. The class sizes are small, so the interaction with the professors is more common than any other college I have seen. Every person brings something new to the table and the campus life is very engaging, you can never be left to yourself, there is always something to do.
The extremely diverse international student body at Jacobs provides opportunities galore and a chance to make friends around the globe. The various partnerships with companies and research groups provides students with oppurtunities to excel.
