Jacksonville State University Reviews
Jacksonville State University is an overall, amazing college. The professors are very caring about their students and their future. They push their students to their full potential to be and do the best they can inside the classroom and also outside of the classroom. Although tuition can be a hassle without financial aid, they provide plenty of scholarships to help provide funds. The only thing I will change about my university is the food. I wish we had a Zaxby's! Before the campus was hit by the tornado, are campus was the most beautiful university in the south. It is becoming more beautiful day by day as the reconstruct and rebuild things around campus. We will get our university back to how it was while still being the most friendliest campus in the south!
Overall, my experience with Jacksonville State University has been great! J.S.U. was my dream university from even all the way back in my middle school days, and it sure did not disappoint. They have handled the devastation from the tornado extremely well while still making it feel like the "Friendliest Campus in the South"! This university truly does instill one with a sense of family and pride; and, Fall Saturdays are a sight to behold in the little town of Jacksonville - all that can be heard is the Marching Southerners and, "Go Cocks!"
This is a wonderful college to attend. The professors are very helpful as well as any of the staff here at JSU. Also, is true to say that JSU is the friendliest campus in the south. one undergraduate degree here, and I chose JSU for my second degree. There is a lot of diversity. There are many programs, activitites, research opportunities, clubs, volunteering opportunities, and opportunities for community service. Professors office hours are reasonable, and they will help you with pretty much anything. It is such a beautiful campus. The landscapers do a very well at helping accomplish this. The quad is also a nice spot to drop by for relaxing. Some people even hang their hammocks in the trees there to read, do homework, draw, or take a nap in between classes. It truly is a wonderful campus, and I am proud to say that I am a JSU student!
